Medicine Tropical Unit JOB DESCRIPTION Education and qualifications: Required: Graduate in Medicine Desired: Knowledge of Spanish and other European languages and highly valuable Portuguese.
Bachelor's/Master Degree in Tropical Medicine or International Health Experience and knowledge: Required: At least 2 years of work experience in a similar position in a scientific environment Self-motivated, proactive and results-oriented.
Excellent teamwork skills, with good interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
Respect to other cultures and beliefs.
Knowledge of data analysis software.
Desired: Previous experience in a developing country.
Proven experience in writing successful proposals for EC funded programs.
Main responsibilities and duties: Coordinate/Manage the "on field" part of research projects Give support in/to the assistance activities of a rural African hospital Collaborate with local and national authorities to warrant the consecution of the ongoing projects Labour conditions: Full-time position 40h/week.
Based in Cubal, Angola rural municipality in Benguela province Starting date: immediate Gross annual salary: Remuneration will depend on experience and skills.
Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale.
