This individual will be responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient operation of the PN, PGDCN, and HCA Clinical Practice Teams and for managing the Clinical Practice Student Placement Coordinator, faculty, and students.Employment Type: Full-timeLocation: Surrey, BC/RemoteSeniority Level: ManagerDuties and Responsibilities Include (but not limited to): Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Manager to proactively recruit and hire new Clinical Practice Faculty.Provide a comprehensive orientation program for new faculty members including orientation to the Stenberg College programs; the semester-specific curriculum; the clinical site(s) and the related CP policies, processes, and procedures.Evaluate the teaching and professional competency of faculty through instructor audits, annual faculty performance reviews, host site and student feedback surveys, and instructor check-in meetings; identify professional development needs and create plans to further develop teaching and mentoring excellence.In collaboration with the Clinical Practice Team, ensure that Stenberg College's programs follow regulatory body requirements and guidelines for regulatory reporting.Oversee and manage all student-related Clinical Practice issues/concerns as per the Stenberg College Student and Clinical Practice Handbooks policies and procedures.Requirements:Active registration with the BCCNM with a minimum of 5 years nursing experienceMinimum 5 years of experience as a clinical instructor and/or in a nursing management roleKnowledge of Internet researching & sourcing technologiesKnowledge of HSPnet and/or experience with online data platformsKnowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and ExcelA valid driver's license, as travel will be required.
