Clinical Associated Researcher Research Area of Infectious Diseases
The Infectious Diseases Group is a multidisciplinary research team that collaborates in the development of new antibiotics, new treatments for HIV, and treatments for tuberculosis through participation in clinical trials and research projects to improve the quality of life of patients with infectious diseases.

Education and Qualifications: Required:
Medicine degree
Specialist in Internal Medicine
Clinical training in Infectious Diseases (at least 18 months)
Experience in the diagnosis and treatment of osteoarticular infections
Desired:
Good level in spoken and written English (C1 level)
Good computer skills (Word, Excel, Access, SPSS or similar, webpage, webmail)
Experience and Knowledge: Required:
Experience in the diagnosis and treatment of osteoarticular infections
Desired:
Knowledge of antibiotic use optimization programs (PROA) and nosocomial infection surveillance in Catalonia (VINCaT)
Experience in clinical trials and clinical research
Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
Motivation for clinical research
High motivation and initiative
Main Responsibilities and Duties: Management of the database of patients participating in clinical trials and research projects.
Data collection performed in a REDCap database created for this purpose.
Development of a research project focused on a patient with septic pathology of the musculoskeletal system.
Efficacy and safety of different antimicrobial durations for the treatment of osteosynthesis infections after long bone fracture fixations. It is a pragmatic Phase 3 multicenter randomized trial.
