We are currently looking for a Client Service Delivery Assistant Manager - Accounting to support our growing operations in the Administration department primarily in Capital Markets.
Key responsibilities Understanding complex structures and accounting in particular for alternative asset classes primarily in the capital markets structures; Maintaining accounting books and timelines of a portfolio of allocated clients; Timely and accurate processing / reconciling of all transactions; Review & validate financial statements / management reporting / NAV calculations; Guiding junior staff members on preparation of accounts and other tasks; Coordinate with clients and auditors on a regular basis; Monitor and exercise the ongoing reporting process (e.g. investor, client and regulatory reporting); Liquidity management including invoice processing/coordination, monitoring of capital movements etc.; Participate in ad hoc projects; Identify process improvements and implement changes; Be the first contact for clients' and investors' requests; Coordinate the setup of the capital market structure as well as the implementation of the relevant contracts, service level agreements or operations manual in cooperation with the external lawyers and service providers; Coordinate with internal and external providers on the full life cycle of the capital market structure; Supervise the internal and external service providers to ensure the timely valuation and accounting production; Setup and monitor the regulatory and client reporting and managing corporate calendar; Ensure compliance with tax and legal obligations in relation to the given advice of the legal and tax service providers; Ensure the compliance of the contractual obligations of the capital market structure. Skills Required Degree from a Business school in Economics or Accounting / Finance or equivalent educational background; Fully qualified accountant (e.g. "ACCA" or equivalent) or currently taking qualifications (part-qualified); Excellent handling of MS Office applications in particular MS Excel; Good knowledge of alternative fund structures / asset classes (i.e. capital markets, real estate, private equity, private debt); Strong accounting knowledge of capital markets structure is an advantage; At least 3 years of work experience in the field of Finance/Accounting in Finance sector; At least 3 years of experience in accounting (including consolidation)/controlling of alternative investment vehicles; Ability to multi-task, well organised and able to meet the deadlines in a fast-paced work environment; Excellent numeracy, analytical and organisational skills, ability to conduct a thorough self-review; Strong knowledge in Lux GAAP and IFRS; Excellent inter-personal skills in dealing with both clients and colleagues; Team spirit and ability to work in a collaborative work environment; Must have initiative to constantly improve processes; Ability to identify and prioritize issues as they arise; Good understanding of operational controls framework; Fluency in the English language both writing and speaking is mandatory; additional European languages would be an advantage.
