Functional Title: Client Onboarding Manager
Reports to: Regional Head of Client Onboarding
Outline of position The primary responsibilities of this position are:
Acting as the key client contact throughout the client onboarding process to ensure seamless transition from Sales to BAU;Act as a first point of contact for client issues relating to onboarding matters;Coordinating client adoptions, account openings, review of fund offering documentation and legal agreements, internal system set ups, and project planning;Project management and coordination of internal functions to onboard new clients (launches and conversions) including Service Delivery, Sales, Legal, Compliance, and Technology teams;Assist in the initial drafting and review of client service agreements;Interacting with the Legal Department on template management and control;Managing the internal review process across different product and service lines within the fund administration, depository and other product lines;Provide day to day client onboarding advice across all Apex Group business lines to best meet their business needs and maintaining good working relationships through active communication, facilitation and teamwork.Support the wider onboarding team where required. Required Skills:
An individual with a legal qualification to degree level;A minimum of 3-5 years of experience within the investment funds industry;A good knowledge of funds industry, experience of different fund structures, domiciles and regulatory requirements is an advantage.Be comfortable/competent in dealing with fund structuring issues, legal terminology and fund services agreements;Knowledge on Client KYC requirements is an advantage;Be highly motivated and a self-starter with the ability to work semi-supervised supporting a fast-paced dynamic business;Possess team spirit and enthusiasm with the capacity to build strong client relationships;Client facing experience;Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills and a truly client servicing mindset;Professional level of English (spoken and written), every other language is an advantage.We are looking for a client onboarding manager to work with a top tier financial services provider.
