This seasoned strategist not only understands current accounting practices and trends but has proven experience in managing an entity that operates in both Canada and the U.S. and a good understanding of cross-border rules.

CFO Responsibilities include:Providing leadership, direction, and management of the finance and accounting teamProviding strategic growth recommendations to the CEO and members of the executive management teamManaging the processes for financial forecasting and budgets and overseeing the preparation of all financial reportingAdvising on long-term business and financial planningWorking closely with Operations to ensure accurate project budgeting and costingsEstablishing and developing relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholdersManaging KPIs and ratios to ensure EBITDA/EV is maximizedCompiling analytical data related to business operationsRelationship management with banks, lenders, accountants, etc.Advising and managing tax strategies, compliance, and filingsManaging entities in the U.S. and Canada, and the related intercompany transactionsReviewing and updating policies, processes, and procedures to ensure continuous improvement from both an operational, control, and profitability perspectiveEnsuring all financial compliance requirements and obligations are adhered to Experience & Skills:5+ years in a management role, a degree in business administration, CPA designation preferred.You enjoy a growth environment with a strong desire to learn, adapt to change, and evolve with a growing company.Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.Strong computer skills (Outlook, Word, and advanced Excel) and ERP/CRM systems.You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a good eye for detail.Team player with a positive attitude and promoter of constant improvement.Solid GAAP and technical, financial reporting skills.
