We are looking for a flexible and highly motivated Claims Handler in this interesting, dynamic and international setting, contributing with expertise and engagement in the growing multicultural department. Very good training and integration is guaranteed.Your job Review of claims notifications based on the Reinsurance terms and conditions and verifying calculations for both treaty and facultative business (direct and via broker).Processing the claims in our SAP systems.Verifying payment requests for individual claims on the basis of the individual authorities.Close cooperation with Claims Managers, Underwriters and the International Organization.Correspondence/contact with cedants and brokers.Assume responsibility for a specific group of clients.Participate in challenging projects and working groups globally.Profile Degree in administration, finance, economics or business sciences; recent graduates or less experienced persons are also welcome.Knowledge of insurance claims, preferably also in reinsurance.Expertise in MS-Office, particularly Excel, and in SAP tools.Analytical skills and accuracy in dealing with figures.Self-confident approach combined with a high degree of dedication to working effectively and independently, willing to face new responsibilities.Team spirit; interest in and capability to expand, maintain and pass on knowledge.Strong communication skills and high degree of intercultural competence.Excellent knowledge of Spanish and English (written and spoken).Being prepared to take a future Combined Role of Claims Handling and Technical Accounting.About us As the world's leading reinsurance company with more than 11,000 employees at over 50 locations, Munich Re introduces a paradigm shift in the way you think about insurance.
