About the roleWhat you need to know:To handle PSR (Property and Specialty Risks) Business portfolio of claims from coverage enquiry through legal liability assessment (where relevant) and quantum analysis, to timely and accurate resolution; ensuring mitigation of indemnity and expense exposure while communicating developments and outcomes as necessary to all key internal and external stakeholders.Provide a high standard of customer service and adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.Managing complex claims handling enquiry; coverage determination, quantum analysis and legal liability assessment, where appropriate within authority limits and providing a high standard of customer service.Work with Team Manager/Senior Adjuster to ensuring effective vendor and litigation management on Complex claims within a personal allocation.Internal stakeholder communication where requiredStrive for continuous improvement on claim file handling with feedback and support through the Quality Assurance Review processesContribute to maintenance of best practice procedures for (LoB) Complex claims, consistent with global best practice.Demonstrate a technical claims competence for handling moderate to complex claims.Handle complex claims allocated within agreed level of authority limitWhat we're looking for:Relevant experience in insurance, in Property, Marine and Trade Credit Claims departmentsBusiness Administration, Economics or Law degreeFluent in EnglishExperienced in stakeholder management, both internal (underwriting, distribution, actuarial, finance and executive management) and external (brokers and clients)Experience in conducting technical claims audits and effectively followingKnowledge of legal / regulatory and procedural requirementsResult drivenCapacity to work in an industry changing landscapeAttention to detailGood time management and priorization skills.
