A vacancy for an Avionics Systems Engineer at Spanish Air Force National Support Center (CLAEX) has arisen within Airbus.
The successful applicant will join Airbus Defence and Space Military Aircraft Weapon Systems CoC as part of the CLAEX Systems Analysis Team at Torrejon Military Air Base.
Your main tasks and responsibilities will be to support the Eurofighter National Development at Analysis and Design Squadron (EAD) at CLAEX (Logistics Center of Armament and Experimentation) for the Spanish Air Force. This includes the following activities:
Support Weapon System Requirements gathering and Analysis.
Weapon System Safety Analysis and Assessments.
Creation of AVS System documentation, namely FRD, LPS, SRHA, SQS and WQS.
Support the Airworthiness Certification Process.
Desired Qualification:
Educated to degree level in Engineering (Telecommunication/Aeronautical/Computer Science).
Experience and knowledge in Avionics Systems and Software Development process: Requirements, Specification, Design, Certification and Qualification.
IT literate. EF programme tools knowledge, e.g. Rational DOORS and Statemate, will be valuable.
Spanish: Fluent.
English: Fluent/negotiation level.
SW development experience will also be valuable.
Applicant must fulfill the requirements to obtain HPS NATO (Secret) and National Spanish Security clearance.
