Responsibilities: Repairs and provides preventive maintenance to all production equipment and troubleshoots facilities equipment when needed.Responsible for correcting machine problems to minimize downtime.Read diagrams, sketches, blueprints, operation manuals, and manufacturing specifications.May operate drill press, grinders, welding equipment, and other tools to make repairs.Documentation of the PM's and work orders in Maximo or applicable quality documents & logbooks.Work together with outside contractors providing service to manufacturing equipment.Installation and startup of new equipment as requested by the supervisor.Assemble and install any electrical apparatus, control equipment, and wiring used in the manufacturing area.Follow current compliance regulations and standards.Qualifications: Associates Degree in Electronic Technology, Electronics, Industrial Mechanics, or related technical field and 2 years of experience in a regulated industry required.Bachelor's degree in electronic technology, Electronics, Industrial Mechanics, or related technical field preferred.Strong electrical, electronic, pneumatic, and hydraulic knowledge and troubleshooting skills preferred.Basic PLC knowledge and ability to read schematics is preferred.Experience in an automated industrial environment preferred.Bilingual (Spanish & English) preferred.Electrician Licensed preferred.PC literacy including MS Office and use of other software and applications preferred.MAXIMO knowledge highly desirable.Basic Metrology, Basic Statistics, Analytic Troubleshooting (ATS), Technical Writing, and Good Documentation Practices are required.Availability to work overtime, various work schedules, which may include 1st, 2nd, 3rd shifts and/or 12-hour daily shifts, including weekends and holidays is required.For more than 130 years, diversity, equity & inclusion (DEI) has been a part of our cultural fabric at Johnson & Johnson and woven into how we do business every day.
