The Benefits of working at BJ'sBJ's pays weeklyGenerous time off programs to support busy lifestyles:Vacation, Personal, Holiday, Sick, Bereavement Leave, Jury DutyBenefit plans for your changing needs:Three medical plans, Health Reimbursement Account (HRA), Health Savings Account (HSA), two dental plans, flexible spendingEligibility requirements vary by position and medical plans vary by location.Job ResponsibilitiesManage assigned projects to an on-time and on-budget completion including new and takeover club locations, remodels, expansions, and new club gas facilities.Responsible for strategizing, hiring Consultant teams, and representing the company's interests in public meetings and hearings.Facilitate complete project approvals from State, Federal, and local municipalities; develop construction documentation in accordance with the company prototype, budget, and schedule.Project involvement will range from Landlord build-to-suits to full self-develop projects which may include the development of other retail uses within a shopping center.Maintain current schedule and budget updates on all assigned projects and report to management as needed.Establish criteria for RFPs and solicit quotes for Consultant's scope of work; identify and contract Consultants for the project.Support Real Estate Managers in developing conceptual site plans and establishing projects.Manage the project team through the conceptual design and due diligence phase to establish development feasibility, preliminary construction budgets, and schedules.Support the Real Estate Manager's negotiations by providing necessary information/documentation.Manage the development and coordination of approval and construction documents; ensure compliance with project parameters, budget, and schedule.Attend working sessions and public hearings to review projects and prepare for public hearings, ensuring the company's interests are represented.Coordinate and ensure that all permits are issued, fees are filed, bonds are procured, and agencies are notified in advance of construction.Schedule and lead project meetings with Consultants, Attorneys, and BJ's.Administer contract invoicing, amendments, change orders, and close-out documentation for all projects.Assemble a project team consisting of Attorneys, professional design and engineering Consultants, strategists, and an expeditor to secure project approvals.Strategize and develop an approvals timeline to be incorporated into the overall project schedule.Coordinate development of construction documents for the building, civil, off-site, and gas to maintain the approved schedule for permitting and construction.Report the progress of project approvals to maintain an updated project schedule for management.RequirementsBachelor's Degree in civil engineering required.5-7 years of Retail Corporate or Civil Engineering Design firm experience preferred.In accordance with the Pay Transparency requirements, the following represents a good faith estimate of the compensation range for this position. The pay range for this position starts from $109,000.00. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, education, experience, and qualifications.
