In response to strategic growth, we are currently seeking a Civil Project Engineer for our GTA office.
The successful candidate will be working with our Civil Engineering Team and must have the ability to work with both senior and junior staff within our urban development Land Engineering Team.
Responsibilities include project coordination, client and municipal liaison, and completion of engineering designs and studies.

Project engineer of existing projects and urban development projects Complete servicing and grading designs utilizing Civil-3D under the direction of the Project Manager and Manager, Land Engineering Serve as a focal point for all project-related communications with clients in order to ensure constant and consistent service Working closely with the civil engineering team to ensure that the designs produced are consistent with and align with the overall business objectives of the project Assist with the delivery of technical designs within cost, schedule, and quality parameters identified and agreed for the project Responsible for the preparation and reviews of the engineering design drawings (Site plan related engineering drawing packages) and associated engineering report (FSR/SWM Reports) Manage all stages of the technical design by engineering disciplines and other technical specialists, including inter-discipline and business unit representative alignment Leading the identification of technical design/support resource requirements and providing input into resources planning Qualifications and Experience: A university degree or college diploma in Civil Engineering preferred P. Eng status or eligibility for registration with PEO 5 to 10 years of land development design and municipal infrastructure experience at increasing levels of responsibility Adapt well to continual change in a dynamic environment Task oriented with excellent interpersonal, organizational and analytical skills Excellent relationship-building skills Ability to work with a multi-disciplined team both as a team member and as a leader Initiative and an ability to work independently while working with a team of design professionals A commitment to excellence and high quality work with a strong attention to detail and accuracy Fluent in use of AutoCAD/Civil 3D Fluent in use of MS Office Why Arcadis?
