Civil Engineer for Industrial Wastewater Treatment Plant Project in Saudi Arabia Location: Jubail Industrial City Project Duration: 38 months Rotation Schedule: 91 days on / 16 days off Work Hours: 10 hours/day, 6 days/week Perks: Accommodation in the city, transportation provided About the Role Join our Owner's Engineering team to oversee the construction and commissioning of a major industrial wastewater treatment plant in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. This role is ideal for a seasoned civil engineer ready to contribute to a high-impact EPC project with significant challenges and rewards. Key Responsibilities Supervise EPC Contractor activities on-site, ensuring adherence to quality and technical standards. Review, comment, and approve engineering specifications and technical documents. Monitor and update the Project Schedule and track key project milestones. Conduct site inspections, including Quality Inspections and commissioning activities. Supervise the startup phase, verify performance guarantees, and ensure plant readiness. Identify defects and verify corrective actions by the EPC Contractor. Represent the Owner in meetings with contractors, vendors, and stakeholders. Manage spare parts and special tools inspection. Project Management Duties Include: Cost and Schedule Control Claims and Variation Management Vendor and Site Management Project Administration and Insurance Claims Management Required Skills & Competencies Education : Bachelor's degree in Engineering (relevant field) from a recognized university. Experience : 7 years in EPC project management, with at least 5 years of construction and site experience and 2 years in a management role. Industry Expertise : Strong background in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Wastewater Treatment sectors, with major international project experience (>$100M). Technical Knowledge : Familiarity with American standards (ASME, API, ASTM, ASHRAE). Preferred : Bidding/tendering, FEED design, interface management, and knowledge of international contract standards (FIDIC, NEC). Middle East Experience : Required.
