The mission of this position is to promote and lead an optimization culture using Continuous Improvement techniques and spirit to have on a daily basis a significant impact on Operations performances. In detail he/she will work closely with the Production leader to challenge the status quo and create the desire to change to increase the performance.
This is how your journey begins: 1. Culture & Training Implement CI standard methodologies, techniques, tools, and protocols to drive operational excellence.Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement at every level of the plant, fostering a mindset of innovation and efficiency.Coordinate and facilitate training sessions for CI, tailored to individual skillsets and evaluated against a matrix of competencies and adaptability.2. Shopfloor (Gemba) Take a proactive role in identifying and fostering Continuous Improvement (CI) workshops within plant operations, personally guiding multi-skilled team members in collaborative working groups to drive operational excellence.Personally oversee and direct kaizen events on the manufacturing floor, strategically targeting bottleneck reduction, lead time optimization, and capacity enhancement, thereby elevating the site's lean management standards.Directly lead the charge in optimizing waste reduction initiatives across manufacturing shop floors and other plant departments, employing a hands-on approach to streamline operations and maximize resource efficiency.Champion the implementation and execution of Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) standards and tools, including Single Minute Exchange of Die (SMED), Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Zero Defect Mindset, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), and Six Sigma methodologies, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and driving a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.3. Benchmark with other Aptar sites or external Companies Analyze industry benchmarks and best practices to drive improvement initiatives.Identify and implement successful practices in targeted areas.Participate in European workshops to exchange knowledge and drive organizational synergies.4. Reporting Collaborate with team members and site controller to validate CI savings and identify opportunities for CI initiatives.Strategically challenge and define the CI savings budget to ensure alignment with organizational goals and priorities.Ensure the timely updating of the AIP system to accurately reflect CI initiatives and savings data.What you will bring on the journey Education:
BS degree Operations CI Management, Engineering or equivalent experienceTraining in Green and/or Black Belt Six Sigma and Lean ManufacturingExperience in a similar role is required.

Effective written, verbal, and presentation skillsEffective problem solving and process analysis skillsMust be detail oriented, quality conscious, with excellent organizational skillsAbility to motivate team and lead improvement within the organization
