.KERIONICS, is seeking a Chief Technology Officer (CTO), a senior-level engineer or scientist with expertise in technology development and new product introduction. This role is essential to the growth and innovation strategy, as the CTO will drive the transition of new products from R&D to production, ensuring scalability, quality, and market-readiness. Working closely with our team of engineers and scientists, the CTO will lead industrialization efforts and establish robust processes to bring advanced SOEC technologies to various industrial applicationsResponsibilitiesWith deep knowledge of SOEC/SOFC Stacks and experience with the New Product Introduction (NPI) and/or stage gate process, the candidate must be comfortable in a multitasking role, managing different projects and covering a broad spectrum of the development process. However, the main focus will be on advanced product creation and development to guarantee subsequent series development and manufacturing phases hitting the market in 2026 and meeting stack performance and cost metrics.In detail, this professional will be in charge of:Leadership in Technology Development: Oversee the New Product Introduction (NPI) pipeline, from R&D to industrialization, for SOEC technology.Project Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, managing projects and timelines to ensure efficient product development.Strategic Innovation: Drive the industrialization strategy and lead efforts to enhance technological capabilities across the product lifecycle.Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with both internal teams and global technology partners to maintain alignment with Kerionics' strategic goals.Quality and Process Optimization: Develop and optimize processes for high-quality, scalable production, adapting to the needs of various industries (e.G., ceramics, steel, cement).Mentorship and Development: Cultivate an innovative work environment by mentoring engineering and scientific teams.Advanced degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related field.10+ years of experience in technology development, ideally within new product introduction or similar industrial roles.A minimum of 5+ years' experience in SOFC/SOEC stacks and expert knowledge of heat transfer and gas/fluid flow.Proven leadership and management experience in a technical environment.Ability to work both independently and part of a fast-moving teamExcellent project management, communication, and leadership skills.English is mandatory, Spanish is preferred and other languages are a plus.Familiarity with the European industrial landscape and experience in cross-national collaborations would be beneficial.What We Offer:Opportunity to join a pioneering company in the sustainable energy sector and make a significant impact on the company's growth and successLead a dynamic and innovative technical team within an entrepreneurial work environment
