Therefore, we are actively searching for a Chief Technology Officer for PagoNxt, to be the technology architecture authority, to promote the use of global technical platforms and to ensure the alignment of the local architecture solutions to the Group's technology strategy.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING As a PagoNxt CTO, you will lead, coordinate, and take part in the definition of the PagoNxt IT strategy and the technological foundations for our digital transformation. Also, you will be responsible for ensuring the alignment between global strategy and local needs and designing roadmaps, business architecture and artifacts and the technology organization.
We need someone like you to help us in different areas:
Lead, coordinate and take part in the definition of the PagoNxt technology strategy, following technological trends and the Group's global strategy.Oversee global architecture frameworks and policies implementations in PagoNxt lines of business (considering local needs).Foster cooperation and reuse of Global Platform assets among PagoNxt lines of business and areas.Define PagoNxt common architecture components, projects, and services.Build and manage the local CTO organization.Work with the PagoNxt CIO, CDO, and CISO to ensure the ongoing implementation of Santander Group IT architecture.Support PagoNxt areas in developing and enhancing local Architecture practice.Ensure lines of business architecture is aligned with the approved PagoNxt architecture.Develop and implement the PagoNxt resourcing strategy for architecture.Participate in the development of the Group's global strategy through the established mechanisms.Requirements:
Education, Training and Previous Experience 10+ years of experience in large scale technology environments. Experience in the financial/banking/payments industry.Proven track-record of implementing industry leading IT architectures that have a transformational impact on the business.Proven experience in providing a competitive strategy with timely priorities and in communicating the strategy convincingly to senior management.Proven expertise leading organization transformation and driving significant change particularly with respect to digital and data transformation.Degree in technology-related field such as science, math or engineering.Knowledge and Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills, and the ability to communicate technical content to nontechnical audiences at various hierarchical levels, ranging from board members to specialists.Strategic leader and builder of both vision and bridges, and able to energize the appropriate teams in the organization.Ability to lead and motivate the technology architecture team to achieve tactical and strategic goals.Excellent analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple projects under strict timelines, as well as the ability to work well in a demanding, dynamic environment and meet overall objectives.Project management skills: financial/budget management, scheduling, and resource management.A master of influencing decisions when achieving a desirable outcome is vital.Personal Characteristics High degree of initiative, dependability, and ability to work with little supervision while being resilient to change.High level of personal integrity, as well as the ability to professionally handle confidential matters and show an appropriate level of judgment and maturity.Has good judgment, a sense of urgency and has demonstrated commitment to high standards of ethics.
