**Overview**The Chief Strategy/ Industry Officer will elevate the dialogue between Freightos and the international freight industry, helping Freightos to refine its strategy for digitalizing the industry, and helping to communicate our vision and roadmap to the most senior executives across the industry around the world.**Responsibilities**- Talk to industry players (carriers, forwarders, enterprise shippers) at the C-level, learning about their needs and evangelizing Freightos' vision.- Synthesize a high level roadmap for the industry and a strategy for Freightos as the industry's chosen booking and payments platform.- Evangelize the Freightos vision with thought leadership pieces, webinars, industry meetings,and social media.- Brief industry analysts on Freightos product offerings.- Work with sales teams to support sales processes by meeting the C-levels of big carriers, forwarders, and shippers.- Track competition's product offerings and brief our product team so we stay ahead.- Over time, potentially manage a small team of experts focusing on specific aspects of our strategy like airlines, ocean liners, forwarders, shippers and payments.**Requirements**:**Responsibilities**- Talk to industry players (carriers, forwarders, enterprise shippers) at the C-level, learning about their needs and evangelizing Freightos' vision.- Synthesize a high level roadmap for the industry and a strategy for Freightos as the industry's chosen booking and payments platform.- Evangelize the Freightos vision for the industry with thought leadership pieces and industry meetings.- Brief industry analysts on Freightos product offerings.- Work with sales teams to support sales processes by meeting the C-levels of big carriers, forwarders,and shippers.- Track competition's product offerings and brief our product team so we stay ahead.- Over time, potentially manage a small team of experts focusing on specific aspects of our strategy like airlines, ocean liners, forwarders, shippers and payments.**Qualifications**- Proven track record in analyzing the international freight industry, identifying trends, engaging with the C-suites, and communicating industry trends and strategies to executives.- Proven track record in supporting strategic sales efforts in the industry.- Record of publishing thought leadership pieces.- Fluent written and verbal English. German, and any other languages are an advantage.- Energetic, agile and excellent communicator, team player,and leader.**Preferred Qualifications**:- Experience in building and managing a small but senior team.**Location**: Preferably Barcelona, but other locations possible, such as Germany.**Reporting to**: Group CEOHybrid:Yes#J-18808-Ljbffr
