As a Chief Revenue Officer, you will join a multi-award-winning digital transportation company that is revolutionising a €600 billion trucking industry with a vision of sustainability. You will work closely with the founders to accelerate company growth and elaborate, test and scale new go-to-market strategies. With ambitious growth objectives, your role will be key in helping the company:
Double their revenue Bring all cities to profitability Expand their presence in new European territories Expand their presence in their current territories The figure of CRO should have an entrepreneurial spirit and is a hands-on thought leader that is data-driven who inspires and mentors colleagues and direct reports with clear thinking, market insight, customer understanding, problem solving, and top-notch deal making skills.
What you'll be doing: Developing growth strategies with the executive team and board of directors Leading and managing all activities within the sales and marketing department, inclusive of account management, operations, customer success and advertising, pricing and marketplace dynamics Management of P&L Designing effective sales strategies and tactics, setting departmental KPIs and evaluating the effectiveness of the sales initiatives, making appropriate changes that encourage achievement of overall sales and business targets Mentoring key personnel in the sales and marketing department, ensuring their constant professional growth, and assisting them in the execution of their duties Creating accountability within the company by developing appropriate metrics and coordinating compensation and promotions with these metrics Creation of dashboards, KPIs, setting targets, and following up on targets Prospecting and closing relationships with key target clients Monitoring the revenue pipeline and leads, adjusting as necessary to create sustainable growth Establishing both short-term results and long-term strategy, including revenue forecasting Monitoring the strategies and processes across the revenue cycle from customer acquisition to engagement to success Filling management gaps by building and training individuals for each geography Developing and implementing robust sales management processes - pipeline, account planning, and proposals Driving a "lean startup" style environment of constant experimentation and learning Leveraging customer research (quantity and quality) to provide strategic leadership for brand architecture and positioning What you'll need to be successful: Strong leadership skills that can inspire people, lead by example, and demonstrate assertiveness with empathetic skills You should have an entrepreneurial spirit, be highly collaborative, data-driven and rigorous, and have a passion for building something new Proven experience in managing P&L Competitive and resilient with a strong team spirit and high level of energy and drive Process-driven Embracing key company values such as transparency, humility, and teamwork What's in it for you: Opportunity to join a fast-growing company with a vision of sustainability Competitive salary + variable + stock options Opportunities for career development Budget for learning and personal development
