Innitius is seeking a highly skilled and strategic Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join our Barcelona team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for translating the company's vision, mission, and objectives into a strategic plan and ensuring that this is achieved, leading a team of 15+ people and the development of a our Class III/PMA (FDA Regulation) & Class IIb (MDR) Clinical Diagnostic Platform. Your responsibilities will include defining product scope, as well as driving the product development process from concept to launch. With a focus or background in healthcare, you will be well-equipped to bring a valuable perspective to this role and contribute to the success of our company. Tasks Translate the company's vision and ambition into an operational plan, setting specific & measurable objectives for the team that will enable rapid and efficient progress in product development. Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth, leading employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication. Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficient and effective management of the company's workflow and processes. Manage relationships with partners/physicians to support business development and expansion. Design and implement business strategies, plans, and procedures to promote company culture and vision. Evaluate the performance of the team by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics. Participate in company growth activities, managing organizational change to ensure minimal disruption. Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication by establishing policies that promote company culture and vision. Oversee the company's financial performance - specifically budgeting and reporting activities. Assure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with FDA & MDR regulations. Work closely with the CEO and other C-suite executives to make decisions for operational activities and set strategic goals. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Management, or related field preferred. Proven experience as a COO or in a similar executive leadership role, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment. Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to build and lead an effective team. Understanding of the unique needs and challenges that healthcare organizations face. Excellent public speaking and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated success in leading improvement initiatives and strategic planning.
