Our client is looking for an experienced 1st Mate/Officer to join a team of 9 crew on a private motor yacht based in Palma.The ideal candidate will be confident in their role, organized, a good team player with a friendly, outgoing personality.TasksLead the deck department and manage bridge activities.Ensure the yacht's operations are running smoothly and efficiently.Perform watchkeeping duties with diligence.Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.Uphold safety and security protocols with a strong knowledge of ISM/ISPS standards.Navigate effectively and responsibly.RequirementsMinimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role on yachts.Good watchkeeping abilities.Proven knowledge of ISM/ISPS protocols.Professional appearance with no visible tattoos.Fluent in English.Qualifications: commercially endorsed Yacht Master, fully updated STCW with PSA/PDSD, valid Seafarer's Medical Certificate, and Seaman's Discharge Book.Preference for candidates currently in Europe, though others will be considered.BenefitsCompetitive salary paid in Euros.Medical insurance.3.5 days of holiday per month.Winter based in Palma, Spain.Please read the full job description carefully and ensure you meet all the criteria listed before applying.
