At Siemens Gamesa, we are constantly seeking talented individuals to join our team and support our focus on energy transformation.We are seeking a dedicated Chief Engineer / Technology Owner for Secondary Structures (SST) to play a pivotal role in advancing the Wind Turbine Tower and Foundation (TF) development.How to contribute to our visionAs Chief Engineer SST (Secondary Structures) for Onshore towers, you:are responsible for ensuring the right technologies, products and solutions are developed and optimally integratedare responsible for a specific technology area for Off- and Onshore secondary structures and will drive its technology roadmap for SST and scope and prioritize its technology development projectsrepresent SST in different boards and communities and act as a central contact point inside and outside the company.
Your main stakeholders include – beside others – Procurement, Construction, Service and Manufacturingare the technical accountable for SST in Root Cause Analysis/8Ds and ensure that the right conclusions are taken to improve the productwork in close collaboration with the other SST Chief Engineers and TF Chief Engineeract as central contact point inside and outside the company and will connect with the technical experts and stakeholders to support efficient communication and the solution finding processWhat you need to make a differencePassion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.
We are also looking for an engineer who:Has bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineeringHas Minimum of 5-8 years' experience in product development or engineeringIs self-driven, motivated, engaged to solve difficult technical challenges through innovation and cooperation with a global teamHas cross-disciplinary understanding of the tower design process and its value chain with special focus on secondary structuresHas experience in technical leadership and mentorshipHas systematic and well-organized approach, maintaining a solid oversight of projects and able to make calculated decisions based on the knowledge and risks knownCan work and thrive both independently and in a team environmentHas Strong coordination, communication and presentation skillsIs Proficient in English languageIn return for your commitment we offer youBecome a part of our mission for sustainability: Clean energy for generations to come.
