Reports toChief Service Engineer
Scope- Act as representative for the Chief Service Engineer and focal interface with customer, EPI parent companies OCCAR, EASA and Airbus Defence & Space
- To provide strategic direction across the Business for life cycle engineering issues relating to technical support, management of the in-service fleet and new Services.
Accountabilities- Develop fleet reliability management ensuring that in-service events are monitored and appropriately sentenced and progressed.
- Manage in-service investigations with EPI and PCs SE team.
- Establish best practice in-service metrics for analysis and subsequent reporting on product in-service availability performance.
- Always consider the commercial and contractual position of actions and consequences.
- Support the product design and service support workstreams.
- Maintenance Cost Model Maturity.
Responsibilities- Developing and leading the engine maturity strategy with a number of key, high profile deliverables to the customer (OCCAR and AD&S).
- Develop engine management plan requiring significant cross partner agreement.
- Interfacing with suppliers where there are technical challenges and commercial implications in any decision taken.
- Deputise EPI CSE for PWAS, PMI, SB and TV approval.
- Develop and update relevant processes to Engineering technical support function.
- ADS relationship focal for Engineering investigations investigation monitor (PC and TD weekly KPI and accountability).
ProfileEducationBachelor / Master Degree Engineering
LanguagesFluent English
Experience- Proven ability to influence stakeholders at different levels in the organisation.
- Proven whole engine knowledge and very clear understanding of engineering processes.
- Proven awareness and knowledge of the safety process, and through-life maintenance.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse, interpret and challenge results from statistical numerical techniques.
- Proven, extensive experience in management of work packages or projects, of increasing complexity.
Skills- Ability to influence and drive a team of indirect reportees.
