As a strategic partner to the executive leadership, the CFO will oversee financial operations across our diverse portfolio, which includes restaurant franchises, fitness franchises, and commercial retail real estate investments.The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional with strong accounting expertise, exceptional communication skills, and a proven track record in financial strategy and analysis.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Financial LeadershipDevelop and implement financial strategies to drive growth, operational efficiency, and profitability.Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and budgets for executive decision-making.Provide clear, concise, and actionable communication to executive leadership regarding financial issues, risks, and opportunities.Build and lead a high-performing finance team, promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.Acquisitions and Due DiligenceLead financial analysis and risk assessments for new acquisitions.Provide insights and recommendations on acquisitions to support strategic growth.Oversee underwriting processes and evaluate investment opportunities.Capital Structure and Risk ManagementDevelop and optimize funding strategies, including loans and equity structuring.Build relationships with financial institutions, investors, and other stakeholders.Oversee risk management strategies to safeguard company assets and investments.Manage entity creation, equity distributions, and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.Monitor and evaluate portfolio performance, providing actionable insights.Accounting and Financial ReportingOversee accurate and timely financial reporting.Audit and analyze books with a critical eye, identifying and addressing discrepancies.Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.Operational Financial OversightCreate systems and processes for streamlined financial operations.Supervise the creation and management of financial entities across the portfolio.Collaborate with other leaders to align financial strategies with business objectives.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA/CPA preferred).8+ years of experience in finance leadership roles in the restaurant or franchise industry, preferably in the Americas.Proven track record in managing financial operations for multi-unit businesses.Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting.Strong knowledge of capital structuring, acquisitions, due diligence, and portfolio management.Demonstrated exceptional attention to detail, analysis of complex financial data, and ability to provide actionable insights.Strong leadership, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.Proficiency in Sage, QuickBooks, Datarails, Paylocity, and ADP.Personal AttributesStrategic thinker with a hands-on approach.Detail-oriented with exceptional analytical skills.Results-driven and able to navigate complex business environments.Benefits:13th Month PayHMO Gov't.
