This role is critical in achieving sales objectives, contribution margins, and earnings targets, and maintaining high customer and employee satisfaction.Compensation:Salary range: $175,000 - $200,000Annual Profit-Sharing planPaid Time Off (sick and vacation)7 Paid HolidaysHealth Insurance401K Plan w/ 4% match vested immediatelyFSA PlanEmployee Discount at our Retail storesResponsibilities:Lead and manage all aspects of the Finance Accounting functions, including talent management and strategic financial planning.Provide executive leadership in evaluating and enhancing short and long-term operational and strategic financial objectives.Offer strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management to drive business growth and profitability.Manage cash flow, forecasting, financial planning, and budget consolidation.Ensure compliance with GAAP, federal, state, and local regulatory laws for financial and tax reporting.Develop and execute financial and tax strategies to enhance business opportunities.Maintain relations with external auditors, banks, and insurance providers.Drive quarterly and annual planning sessions and develop execution plans.Ensure effective internal controls and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.Build and maintain strong business relationships with key strategic partners.Lead and develop high-performing finance teams and foster a collaborative environment.Company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.Qualifications:Prior CFO or senior financial leadership experience in a small to mid-sized retail or regulated industry, preferably tobacco or cannabis.10+ years of experience in financial management with expertise in highly regulated industries.Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; Master's Degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.Demonstrated leadership and team-building capabilities.High level of business acumen and strategic thinking.Visionary leader with the ability to identify and capitalize on short and long-term strategic opportunities.
