To face the challenges, * SolaQua * is looking to appoint a new Chief Executive Officer to create and lead the company. An entrepreneurial, ambitious, and driven general manager with a high level of energy and passion for creating projects from scratch, willing to be the head and the heart of the company. Responsibilities Formulate and drive, in conjunction with the Board of Directors, the mission, vision, and global strategy of SolaQua. Design and implement the annual Business Plan, executing the strategy for the coming year. Drive the local and international business development, deliver on the objectives set, and actively co-create the activities as planned in the yearly business plan. Design and implement the fundraising plan and represent the company in all needed local and international fora, institutions, and events. Build, lead, and maintain a high-performing diverse team by creating an inclusive environment and offering opportunities for staff to excel in undertaking their responsibilities. Business leader with a minimum of 7 years experience in (top) executive positions, managing interdisciplinary functions. Technical background with a proven track record in the PV market and in PV irrigation systems, creating and growing business. Ideally experienced in international, matrixed, working environments. Excellent communication and negotiation skills in Spanish and English. True team player who creates trust; proactive and transparent, and fosters the right working climate. High tolerance to ambiguity and adaptability whilst keeping the right balance between short, medium, and long-term objectives. Location and travel Although the Solaqua team is still small, the CEO will be integrated into the same office space as the QPV team, a start-up with 25 employees and a pleasant working environment (Madrid este-norte, between M30 y M40). The position will initially demand traveling around 30% of the time and a company car will be available.
