To face the new challenges in this expansion phase, we are seeking a visionary CEO to lead our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities : Strategic Leadership : Develop and execute the company's strategic plan to achieve growth and profitability targets.
Oversee the expansion of the team from its current size to 30 employees within the next 18 months.
Foster a company culture that encourages innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
Team Management : Recruit, retain, and develop top talent, with a particular focus on hiring an experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Plant Manager, and other key positions.
Provide leadership and direction to the executive team and all employees.
Implement performance management processes to ensure team members meet personal and organizational goals.
Operational Oversight : Ensure the design and construction of a manufacturing plant for the production of Membrane Electrode Assemblies (MEAs), stacks, and systems.
Ensure operational efficiency, product quality, and compliance with industry standards.
Oversee supply chain management and production processes.
Fundraising and Financial Management : Drive fundraising efforts to secure the next round of financing to support company growth and development.
Manage relationships with investors, stakeholders, and the board of directors.
Develop and manage the company's budget, financial forecasts, and performance metrics.
Business Development : Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets.
Represent Kerionics at industry events, conferences, and meetings with potential clients and partners.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
Qualifications : Strong background in executive leadership roles, preferably in a technology or manufacturing startup/scaleup environment (ideally hydrogen industry, automotive and plants development).
Advanced degree in business, engineering, or a related field.
Demonstrated success in scaling a team and leading organizational growth.
In-depth understanding of manufacturing processes, particularly in the production of electrolysis stacks or similar technologies.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
Passion for sustainable energy solutions and a commitment to driving innovation in the industry.
Strong background in fundraising, with a track record of securing investment rounds preferred.
Proficient level of English and Spanish.
Other languages are a plus.
