Los Cabos has long been a favorite destination for luxury travelers and is a natural fit for Four Seasons as we expand our presence in Mexico.About the role of Chief Engineer:The Chief Engineer will be responsible for the coordination and supervision of all preventive maintenance programs for the Residences, villas, and common public areas, which include the H.O.A.s, as well as the rental program for the Four Seasons Residences.What will you do in this position?Develop planning for preventive and corrective maintenance in coordination with the department management.Support the Director of Engineering in all aspects of property maintenance, including but not limited to electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, painting, infrastructure, and furniture maintenance.Quote and execute MEP or civil improvement and remediation projects in the residences in coordination with the area and equipment operation managers.Coordinate and execute the handover process of the residences and common areas, reviewing documentation, inspecting MEP systems, and generating and following up on "Punch List" reports.Assist the Director of Engineering in developing annual budgets, monthly cost analysis, and control. Maintain up-to-date expense forecasts and inform the Director of Engineering of changes according to the finance calendar.Maintain daily and monthly energy control and take necessary actions to optimize usage, sharing monthly reports on the platforms indicated by corporate and ownership.What will be necessary for this role?Degree in Electromechanical, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering with demonstrated experience in electromechanical maintenance.Experience of more than three (3) years in the managerial area of Engineering is preferred.Experience with Birchstreet, HotSos, BMS lighting, Lutron myroom, and Quantum software will be valued.Advanced experience and knowledge in the operation and maintenance of motors, hydraulic pumps, plumbing, compressors, fans, chillers, cooling towers, electrical generators, medium voltage distribution panels, transformers, heating systems, boilers, pools, cold storage, kitchen and laundry equipment.Advanced experience and knowledge in motor control systems, variable speed drives, electrical protections, and automation.*This job requires advanced Spanish language skills; English is optional.*What we offer:Compensation: Highly competitive salaries, as well as an annual incentive plan for managerial and/or department head positions.Transportation: Transportation service from San Lucas and San José del Cabo to the resort.Uniforms: Uniform laundry service for employees.Training and development: Internal training workshops for line employees and/or managers.Recognition: Employee service awards, as well as Employee of the Month and Employee of the Year awards.Service Culture:Four Seasons consistently ranks among the best hotels in the world and the most prestigious brands in reader surveys, traveler reviews, and industry awards.
