Through our businesses such as Corporate Life & Pension, Zurich International, Cover-More, and Zurich LiveWell, we focus on customer needs in travel, health and wellness, cyber, and employee benefits.Your roleAs a Chief Architect your main responsibilities will involve:Owning the Zurich Global Ventures architecture agenda, establishing specific design authorities for the most complex running projects and programs.Driving the continuous integration of the Zurich Global Ventures IT landscape.Signing the Zurich Global Ventures IT roadmap ensuring scalability, performance, and security in architecture designs.Assessing new technologies and tools to determine their fit for the organization, recommending technology solutions that can improve efficiency and performance.Engaging with stakeholders and translating business objectives into clearly defined business cases with a focus on IT budgets and financial schedules.Coordinating the IT budget planning cycles of local teams together with Zurich Global Ventures strategy office.Your Skills and ExperienceAs a Chief Architect your skills and qualifications will ideally include:Technical skills:Deep knowledge of IT architecture principles, including enterprise architecture, solution architecture, and technical architecture.Experience with a wide range of technologies such as cloud computing, microservices, DevOps, and cybersecurity.Experience in strategic planning.Expertise in architectural frameworks such as TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework).Interpersonal skills:Strong leadership skills to guide and mentor architecture teams.Ability to inspire and drive change within the organization.Experience:Educational Background: A bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
