Reporting directly to the Regional South Finance Director, this pivotal role will oversee all aspects of financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance, ensuring the company's financial health aligns with our mission of sustainability in the fresh produce industry.The ideal candidate will have a strategic mindset, a passion for innovation, and a proven track record in managing financial teams and systems.Responsibilities:Manage the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements, ensuring adherence to local and international accounting standards and tax compliance.Lead a team of accountants, providing mentorship and guidance while optimizing processes to increase efficiency.Implement advanced accounting software and integrate financial data with sustainability metrics.Support strategic initiatives aimed at reducing costs while promoting eco-friendly packaging solutions.Collaborate closely with the Regional South Finance Director and other departments to provide financial insights that drive decision-making.Requirements:Extensive experience overseeing the full accounting cycle, including managing monthly closings and supplier accounting processes, with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance.Proficient in handling complex tasks such as managing amortization schedules, deferred taxes for Corporate Income Tax, and ensuring proper control of inter-company and related-party transactions.Proven ability to supervise and coordinate accounting and tax departments, skilled in preparing detailed financial reports for senior management.Expertise in ERP systems, particularly SAP, along with strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and adaptability in dynamic environments.Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field (a Master's degree in a relevant area is a plus).At least 8 years of professional experience in accounting, including leadership roles, with a strong focus on compliance, inter-company operations, and financial reporting.Experience in an international working environment is highly preferred.Advanced proficiency in SAP and a deep understanding of tax reporting and financial analysis.Fluency in Spanish (native) and a high level of proficiency in English, both spoken and written.#J-18808-Ljbffr
