Chief Accountant

Job Purpose This position is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day accounting operation, reporting, compliance, and assisting the Director of Finance in ensuring the hotel financial strategy is implemented in accordance with Hotel's policy & procedures.
Primary Responsibilities Supervise daily accounting operations, including mentoring staff and ensuring teamwork for efficient and effective operation.
Verify daily bank balances through review of credit card reconciliation for Director of Finance approval.
Ensure the accuracy of the General Cashier report and that revenue is deposited into the bank daily by the General Cashier.
Perform month-end accounts reconciliation of all general ledger balances before issuing monthly financial statements; report any gaps or variances to the Director of Finance.
Review monthly reports such as F&B report, Cost Controller's report, etc., as per company policy.
Ensure all tax payments and filings are completed timely, and variances are resolved.
Prepare various monthly reports as required by Management.
Assist the Director of Finance in reviewing the application of accounting policy, budgeting, financial analysis, and ad hoc duties.
Ensure proper filing of accounting records, including contracts, for easy retrieval.
Stay updated with new regulations and Accor policies.
Qualifications Hospitality experience.
