If you're ready to soar, we're ready to take you there.Why eDreams ODIGEOJoin the world's leading travel subscription platform and one of the largest e-commerce businesses in Europe.- 20 million customers – 44 markets – 5 brands – 5.2M members in Prime- 16.2 million bookings FY23 – More than 50,000 bookings per day – 100 million daily user searches- 1400 employees – More than 50 different nationalities – 99% permanent contracts – 36.3 average ageWe're a leading travel tech company, revolutionising the travel booking experience through our consumer insight, innovative technology, market leadership, and Prime, the world's first travel subscription program.What you will doThe Role's Key Responsibilities and Tasks:- Build the infrastructure required for the extraction, transformation and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources.- Assemble large and complex datasets, with an optimal data pipeline architecture, meeting business requirements.- Implement processes to monitor data quality, ensuring production data is always accurate and available for key stakeholders and business processes that depend on it.- Create alerts and dashboards to contribute to the monitoring and tracking of our business KPIs.- Identify, design and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimising queries, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.- Collaborate with analytics and business teams to improve data models that feed existing reports or create brand new reports with the aim to increase data accessibility and foster data-driven decision making across the organisation.- Contribute to the delivery of strategic projects by participating in the delivery of key initiatives, giving support to the analytics and business teams when it comes to data availability and visualisation to ensure progress and effective delivery of the desired outcomes. Work together with stakeholders in the execution of the projects.What you need to succeed:- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline (Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, etc.).- Experience building and optimising data pipelines, data sets and workflow management tools (e.G. Airflow).- Advanced knowledge of SQL is a requirement as well as experience working with databases and large sets of data; Python programming skills are also required as well as experience in data visualisation or exploration tools such as Looker Studio.- Advanced Office skills. Strong experience with analytical tools, ideally with Microsoft and Google Office package (Excel, etc.).- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail.- Strong organisational and communication skills
