Purpose of the Role: The Channel Merchandising Manager is responsible for maximizing the potential of the channels and strategic partners ensuring a differentiated assortment aligned with the consumer/channel needs. The successful candidate for this position has a strong knowledge of key accounts such as Luisa Via Roma, End, Kith, Footlocker, JD, Zalando, Sprinter, Forum, Courir, Intersport, El corte ingles etc in order to implement a product assortment that drives mutual profitability. The candidate need to be organized, self-motivated and accountable with an enthusiasm for getting things done. This role will work closely with Product merchandising, Local Sales managers, RGM, Trade marketing and DTC Merchandising mananger.
Main responsibilities: Deliver product assortment for the 9 channels that meets consumer needs and product/commercial targets.Work together with Local sales team to provide in-depth product assortment for the top 10 accounts.Collaborate with the DTC merchadising on the product assortment for the different type of stores and ensure that the key marketing initiatives are clearly communicated.Manage product launchings and key accounts presentation together with Local Sales team to deliver a successful plan.Perform pre-season selling analysis to identify risks, category trends and strategic growth opportunities for mini catalogue and replenishment.Regular tracking product performance to deliver sales and insights reports by channel to implement together with Sales team in season action plans..Parter with Product merchandising on product briefings by sharing insights, sales results and succesful product cases by channel with Global team.Coordinate pre-line meeting with key accounts to share future product developments to get insights to address to the innovation team.Deliver 1st product forecast by channel of the new collection for finantial and demand study.Build new product process to improve internal and global communication. Requirements: University degree. Master's degree is a plus.Poruguese knoledge is a plus.Fluent in English (mandatory).Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in merchandisng and product manager experience in lifestyle brands.Excellent analytical and hands-on.Demonstrated proficiency in using Excel for data analysis and reporting.Exceptional communication and negotiation abilities with high profile stakeholders.
