Role Purpose The Change and Release Process Owner plays a crucial role in designing, implementing, managing, and maintaining the Global Change and Release processes across all IT related functions as part of our IT Service Management Team and being the focal point for successfully introducing and leading changes into the business. Key Responsibilities Process Design and Implementation Utilising ITIL as a framework, best practice and exploiting previous experiences in a complex transformative organisation, design and implement processes to develop our Global Change and Release Management initiatives. As a critical member of the Service Management Team, work closely with key stakeholders across the IT and Business functions to ensure common understanding and working practices are adhered to whilst continuously seeking ways and methods to improve. This position demands a deep understanding of ITSM Change and Release management from not only a technical perspective but successful user adoption aligning to ITIL framework working to ISO27001 standards ensuring standardised, simplified and scalable operations. Change Management The focal point for the life-cycle of all Technology related changes ensuring necessary processes are followed; stakeholders are communicated, business is prepared and appropriate release plans are documented to fully auditable standards. Release Management Working with key stakeholders and the Service Management Team: Manage the release of approved changes into the business aligned to critical success factors whilst ensuring minimal negative business impact. In conjunction with key stakeholders, manage the transition and adoption to business-as-usual support and both audit and documentation requirements are satisfied.
