The Role
We are looking for a passionate, talented, and fun CGI Visual Artist to support and join the Brand Design department, an in-house design team. You will have the opportunity to define, craft, and grow professionally by generating outstanding 3D photo and video assets that impact the company's global communication. Our goal is to transform technology into poetry. The Brand Design team collaborates across all company departments. As a cross-departmental team, we serve as the internal studio for the company, particularly for the Marketing department, with which we work closely to launch new and revamped products worldwide.
The principal challenge and task are to moodboard, design, and execute product portfolio images—from full studio shots to beauty shots. Additionally, you will design product images in context (real environments with high realism).
Beyond that, within the CGI scope, there is a need for key communication product features and campaign videos. The mission and scope of work include creating videos based on CGI (with stock footage as necessary) to produce compelling communicative films for Marketing.
Additionally, the Brand Design team is responsible for helping to create live-action films and photo shoots for internal purposes. Therefore, an interest in photography and filming is highly valuable.
Responsibilities
- Able to build 3D models of our products, in the studio and in real environments.
- Ability to create photo realistic materials, lighting, and rendered images for various uses including marketing and advertisements. Excellent eye for composition, photo-realism, and lighting. They should have a good understanding of model optimization for real-time performance, 3D modelling, and scene ability.
- Ensure timely delivery of creative work on 3D high poly and low poly models from conception through production to meet client requests.
- Brainstorm new modelling and rendering concepts.
- Project Management. Adhere to deadlines, and manage their time across multiple projects.
- Detail-oriented. They must also be able to incorporate feedback from colleagues and superiors into their designs in order to make them stronger.
- Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
- Key softwares: Adobe Creative Suite, Blender, Cinema 4D.
- Working knowledge in tools such as: Rhinoceros, Maya, SketchUp
Requirements
- Education as a 3D Artist or similar.
- Mastery in art direction is valuable.
- +3 years of experience.
- Highly skilled with Blender or Cinema 4D and Adobe Photoshop.
- 2D and 3D illustration skills
- Experience in video composition and photography.
- Portfolio or website is mandatory.
