Key Responsibilities: Overall financial strategy of the company, collaborating with shareholders, board members and the whole team to set the vision, strategy and roadmap.Budget planning and management.Monthly, quarterly and annual forecasting based on historical results.Address financial risk and opportunities for the company.Evaluate new possible investments or funding options with founders.Treasury & financial control reporting and accounting, managing resources and cash flow.Conduct profit and cost analyses, recommending cost-reducing solutions.Ensure all accounting activities and audits comply with financial regulations.Attracting, building and managing the finance team.Who are we looking for: The role is based in Madrid, Spain.Proven work experience as a Head of Finance, Director of Finance or similar role.First-class communication skills. Excellent written and verbal communication is of critical importance.Fluent in English and Spanish. Additional languages are a plus.In-depth understanding of cash flow management, bank reconciliation and bookkeeping.Hands-on experience with budgeting and risk management.Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting models.Proficiency in accounting tools.Solid analytical and decision-making skills.Leadership abilities.BSc/BA in Accounting, Finance or relevant field.MSc/MBA or relevant certification (e.G.
