The Ceuta Operations Lead is a pivotal role to oversee, coordinate and promote consistency and adherence to processes, procedures, and licensing requirements across all aspects of the Spanish Market.
This is a secondment role for a maximum of 12 months, and the successful candidate would need to live and work in Ceuta (Accommodation costs would be reimbursed if appropriate).
The role holder will work closely with the Country Manager for Spain who is responsible for delivering the overall performance in this market.
They will coach and support the Country Manager for success in the following areas:
Management of day-to-day operations and projects to deliver revenue and optimize costsCoordination of the regional and central teams in market with the operational teams in CeutaCost control, budgets, and forecastingOverseeing compliance and regulatory requirements, working with product teams and aligning with all departments (Digital, CRM, ARM, Social teams, etc.)
to deliver on targets.There will be a strong requirement to coach, support, and develop skill and knowledge with local management teams to ensure they are equipped to lead and are confident when working with the Spanish and local authorities.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee and coordinate the overall activities of the Spanish market in liaison with the Head of Iberia and Spanish Country ManagerPromote consistency and adherence to processes, procedures, and licensing requirementsProvide expert advice and guidance to help ensure the smooth running of the operationWork closely with the Country Manager to ensure success of key deliverables, including monitoring and reviewing KPIs (daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly & yearly) to identify ways to improve revenue and processes.Analyzing business/customer trends and follow-up with the teams on required actionsManagement of the Spanish Operations teamAssessing competition on an ongoing basis and flagging to the product teams any gaps identified
