Position Overview: The Ceuta Operations Lead is a pivotal role to oversee, coordinate and promote consistency and adherence to processes, procedures and licensing requirements across all aspects of the Spanish Market.
The role holder will work closely with the Country Manager for Spain who is responsible for delivering the overall performance in this market. They will coach and support the Country Manager for success in the following areas: Management of day-to-day operations and projects to deliver revenue and optimize costs.
Coordination of the regional and central teams in the market with the operational teams in Ceuta.
Cost control, budgets and forecasting.
Overseeing compliance and regulatory requirements, working with product teams and aligning with all departments (Digital, CRM, ARM, Social teams, etc…) to deliver on targets.
There will be a strong requirement to coach, support and develop skill and knowledge with local management teams to ensure they are equipped to lead and are confident when working with the Spanish and local authorities.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee and coordinate the overall activities of the Spanish market in liaison with the Head of Iberia and Spanish Country Manager.
Promote consistency and adherence to processes, procedures and licensing requirements.
Provide expert advice and guidance to help ensure the smooth running of the operation.
Work closely with the Country Manager to ensure success of key deliverables, including: Monitoring and reviewing KPIs (daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly & yearly) to identify ways to improve revenue and processes.
Analyzing business/customer trends and follow-up with the teams on required actions Management of the Spanish Operations team.
Assessing competition on an ongoing basis and flag to the product teams any gaps Identified.
Working closely with the BI and Data team to optimize market performance.
Working closely with Regional and central Acquisition, CRM, ARM teams to prepare promotions and campaigns to deliver revenue uplift and achieve target KPIs.
Working closely with the product teams to ensure the website is up to date and functions as expected.
Being the voice of the Spanish user within Entain.
Grow Talent and build capability within the current teams.
Additional duties: Support stakeholder management across all functions of the business.
Help support the adequate running of the Spanish Headquarters in Ceuta.
Qualifications: Experienced professional with extensive leadership experience in a Spanish gambling operation.
Fluent in Spanish and English.
Significant, demonstrable experience in a senior outward facing role.
Strategic thinker with hands-on experience and close attention to detail.
Solution driven with a collaborative style.
Knowledge of the market operated in: regulations, advertisement restrictions, marketing possibilities, etc.
Ability to foster a strong culture of relationship management and stakeholder involvement.
A proven coach with the ability to support and develop individuals.
This is a 12-month contract position with the expectation to live in Ceuta and be present in office.
It requires you to spend a minimum of 183 days in Ceuta (actual days, not working days).
