Provide critical leadership related to strategy, demand planning and prioritization, specification and deployment for new services and operational support oversight for physical Security services and projects supporting CQ Strategic Business Group functions.
Responsible for policy development and compliance for the protection of all the organization's worldwide personnel and assets.
Establish criteria and develop security standards, technical specifications, work instructions and other normative organizational tools to support security activities.
Implementation of the Security Management System.
Review, assess and maintain the established Security Management System (MS) to adapt it to the new technologies, security concepts and conditions.
Establish analytical requirements to ensure the Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment process is supported by a focused information-gathering and analysis effort, targeting specifically Company areas of interest as well as any other factors, be they political (i.e.
Terrorism), criminal and/or social, to forecast events and developments that may have an impact on Company operations.
Assess levels of situational awareness that affect directly operations, or threaten regional or international stability within Company areas of interest.
Provide technical security support to the Site Managers, Functional Managers, Project Managers and other internal departments according to the Security Management System.
Ensure that risks and threats to the Company's assets are clearly identified and that appropriate cost-effective measures to protect such assets are recommended to Business Unit and Divisional Management in any new project.
Establish, keep and develop the contacts and the necessary relationships, both internal and external, to carry out the Security missions assigned.
Leverage internal and external benchmarking to identify leading industry practices to drive continuous improvement for CQ Security MS. Liaise and collaborate with Security Forces (National, Regional or Local) and other governmental agencies (CNPIC, etc.)
for matters and inquiries related to the security of CQ personnel and assets.
Supervise and evaluate the performance of subcontracted Security Services to ensure that the organization, training, and performance of these services are up to the required standards.
Define and implement the appropriate procedures for reporting and control of such services.
Supervise daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
Collaborate to ensure policy, standards, and guidelines relating to security crisis management and information protection are implemented across the assets as directed by CQ security area.
Produce periodical reports to Management to keep them updated about the status and development of the different projects and the fulfilling of objectives and implemented policies.
Deliver Security awareness initiatives throughout the business as needed.
Promote and drive training and motivation courses to the CQ organization directly involved in Security, to achieve compliance and enforcement of all Security issues and to make them understand that the implemented MS is a permanent concern all along the organization.
Manage conducting security audits globally, ensuring that risks and threats to the Company's assets are clearly identified and that appropriate cost-effective measures to protect such assets are recommended to Business Unit and Divisional Management.
Perform and maintain the information updated relating to the needs in the security area.
REQUIREMENTSArmy or Police university degree.
Officially accredited as a Private Security Director (Spain).
10 years of experience in a management environment, preferably in the O&G/Chemical industry.
High level of English.
Deep knowledge of Spanish Security Law and its regulations.
Proven track record in leading, driving, high performance technical and operational teams, and utilizing analytics to help decision making in complex environments.
Ability to simplify and report on complex technical functions and risks to senior leaders.
Experience in security risk analysis in order to determine the possible threat to CQ personnel, assets, and reputation and the ways and means needed to counteract these threats.
Exceptional leadership, time management, and organization skills with an aptitude towards creative problem solving.
Excellent oral and written communication, including the ability to make presentations to high-level executives and prepare written reports.
