AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Sales team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.
Amazon Web Services (AWS) is rapidly expanding our remote sales function to drive growth across a set of AWS' customers in Enterprise, Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), or high-priority acquisition targets in the Small Medium Business segment. As a Central Sales Representative at AWS, you are responsible for exercising acquisition skills, using solution-specific targeted campaigns to help grow consumption of current and net-new AWS services. In this full sales-cycle quota carrying role, you will use your sales and technical experience to work proactively with our customers to accelerate their journey to the cloud. In order to harness the innovation and scale of services AWS offers, you will leverage internal resources to engage with our customers to execute their strategic objectives in order to adapt to changing market trends. Key job responsibilities Work with the segment Manager to help define business strategy for customersIdentify new opportunities to drive business expansion in a defined territoryDevelop and execute against a named account plan, meet and exceed your targetsManage numerous accounts concurrently and strategicallyEffectively manage a high volume of inquiries from new and existing customersArticulate compelling value propositions around AWS servicesWork with partners to extend reach and drive adoptionEnsure customer satisfaction BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor's degree or equivalentExperience in technical sales for B2B or in solution-sales/technology-related environmentKnowledge of existing and developing technologiesExperience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar softwareFluency in English; German or French preferred but not mandatory PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AWS Cloud CertificationKnowledge of existing and developing technologiesExperience with sales CRM tools such as Salesforce or similar software
