Cattaraugus & Wyoming Co Project Head Start
Ensures all aspects of the center's programming are in compliance with Head Start Performance Standards and OCFS Regulations for Day Care Centers. Supervision of all staff at assigned locations.
Job Duties:General oversight of center including, but not limited to, use of the facilities in conjunction with community partners, maintenance, as well as visitors, parents, volunteers and guests. Support EHS Socializations and primary contact for Family Development Specialists at the center.Complete, when necessary, professional development plans and monitor completion with center level staff. In addition, enforce improvement plans based on monitoring visits.Oversee child supervision policies and procedures, including boarding/un-boarding bus, within the center/classroom, and at other program activities. Conduct formal classroom observations. Coordinate utilization of staff to ensure all requirements are met and executed safely.Ensure full parent involvement in all aspects of the program, coordinate and attend parent committee meetings, arrange and conduct trainings, ensure follow-up on child/family health needs, conduct regular case management meetings, ensure completion of enrollment decisions regarding student entry.Oversight of facility repairs, maintenance and required inspections. Work closely with Associate Director in seeking approval for repairs and maintenance. Ensure completion of monthly fire drills and safety inspection, bi-annual shelter in place drills, and completion of inspections that are required for day care licensing. Provide copies of all inspections to Associate Director when completed.Must obtain and maintain certificate in First Aid and CPR.Provide and participate in training.Valid driver's license and automobile available for work.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree including, or in addition to, 12 credits in Early Childhood, Child Development or related field.One year full-time teaching experience in a child day care center, family or group family day care home or other early childhood program.One year of experience supervising staff.Instructions:Job Category Pay range: $17.00 - $19.47 per hour

Generally, 7:30am-4:00pm Monday through Friday, with occasional evening and weekend hours required. 40 hours per week.
