Our global trading network is close to 100 countries with our four core businesses.Position/Job TitleTransfer Pricing Analyst, EMEAJob DescriptionThe role is part of the Transfer Pricing team, which manages the transfer pricing of intra-group transactions within the Cemex group to comply with tax authorities' requirements for arm's length pricing in various countries.The position involves developing relationships, processes, and practices to define, manage and defend the transfer prices across the Cemex business in the region, according to local laws and OECD Guidelines.The scope of the role includes financial, intellectual property, tangibles and services transactions across the group's business lines in the EMEA region.Main Responsibilities:Gather information on functions within the Cemex group for inclusion in transfer pricing documentation, local files, master file and country by country information.Participate in regional and global projects relating to tax and transfer pricing topics.Work collaboratively with operations (business units, across the EMEA region) and other central departments to assist with understanding the commercial contexts, setting transfer pricing policies, implementing the agreed policies, and monitoring/documenting the results.Follow-up and collaborate with other departments to gather supporting materials and documentation to support provision of services and royalty transactions.Produce and review transfer pricing analyses, including contributing experienced analysis of benchmarking searches using various databases, including for financial transactions.Develop and produce TP documentation for EMEA countries, in collaboration with local and regional tax teams, including presentation as local files for compliance with local TP requirements in various jurisdictions.Position Challenges/ Competencies:Working with colleagues in TP and tax departments in EMEA countries, as well as other departments across the Cemex group.Competing projects, and deadlines with external tax authorities and auditorsCommunication with non-tax people in a practical and collegial way to manage tax risks and develop working processes.Understanding of commercial context and perspectives, to explain the rationale of intra-group transactions to external stakeholders such as auditors and tax authorities.Position Requirements:Fluent English with good writing skills of particular importance; Spanish also important for internal communication and to interact with local tax authorities.Strong verbal and written communication skills, including ability to explain commercial, tax and economics concepts to a non-specialist audience
