Created in 2009, ESSP is a young and dynamic company, a pan European service provider, certified by EASA (the European Union Aviation Safety Agency) to deliver safety-critical services. Our mission is to operate and provide Communication, Navigation and Surveillance (CNS) services, among which, the main one is the EGNOS service (the European Geostationary Navigation Overlay Service), on behalf of the EUSPA (the European Agency for Space).
ESSP recruits a: CNS SYSTEM ENGINEER - (F/M) We are looking for a CNS System Engineer who will be in charge of contributing actively to the development of systems providing Space based Communication, Navigation and Surveillance services. For these activities, we are looking for an engineer with at least 3 years' experience in space or aeronautical domain, with a very good level of English (minimum B2).
Your main responsibilities/activities will be:System definition:Defining the functions requested to operate and maintain the system in conformance with the missions and objectives.Reviewing the sub-systems definition in terms of monitoring and control data and interfaces to meet the System supervision, troubleshooting and reporting needs.Contributing to the definition of the concept of operations.Contribution to the system design, in particular from the service provider standpoint.System validation:Contributing to the definition and deployment of the demonstration platform.Contributing to the definition of the system test plan, test cases and procedures.Identifying tools that need to be developed in the frame of the validation phase.Performing or supporting the tests execution.System monitoring:Raising observed anomaly reports and participating in the anomaly reports reviews as appropriate.Assessing the performance achieved in the frame of the validation phase with respect to the target performance requirements.Monitoring and maintaining into operational conditions the system under test.System development follow-up:Participating in system or projects reviews and boards in the frame of system developments and evolutions.PROFILEExperience in System EngineeringKnowledge in Air Traffic Management (ATM) SurveillanceKnowledge of GNSS and operations associated to EGNOS system as well as computer system and network would be a plus.Strong autonomyAbility to assume responsibilitiesExcellent writing and synthesis skillsGood communicationTeam player spiritJOB SPECIFICATIONSEngineering degree in aeronautics or space or equivalentAvailable for punctual travels mainly in EuropeVery good level of EnglishHuman Resources Information1st interview is held by the direct manager of the position you applied for (technical interview)2nd interview is held by HR UnitElement of package of remunerationVariables: bonuses based on objectivesProfit-sharingTeleworking: up to 2 days/weekTickets Restaurant (card)Family Health InsuranceSustainable Mobility Package: Home/Office travels reimbursement if car sharing or bicyclingReimbursement of 75% of public transport subscriptionJob LocationToulouse (France)
