Purpose of the position: The Stock Clerk is responsible for achieving the store's sales targets by ensuring that all stock and inventory functions are processed accurately and efficiently. Omnichannel processes are one of the most important responsibilities of the stock associate. Understanding and implementing all channel processes and guidelines is a must for the position. The warehouse is one of their major areas of responsibility and must be maintained in the best condition ensuring the operational efficiency of the space.
Areas of Responsibilities:
Sales/profit: The Stock Clerk is responsible for the operation, maintenance and updating of the warehouse to maximise the store's business opportunities. Management of the omnichannel sales and after sales processes.
Customer service: The Stock Clerk is responsible for the follow-up of omnichannel transactions ensuring an unbeatable final shopping experience for all our customers.
Operations and Marketing: Ensure compliance and execution of Diesel's delivery, return and replenishment processes. Communicate any incidents regarding merchandise management processes to the responsible department and store management team. Communicate and review any deficiencies in the quality of Diesel products to the store management team. Proactively ensure and check the correct stock levels in the store. Efficiently check and regulate the store's physical and virtual stock following Diesel's stock control procedures. Collaboration, involvement and understanding of the business needs of the company and the store management team. Deadlines compliance.
Loss prevention: Organising and carrying out partial and general inventories to ensure accurate stock control. Regularly checking that all Diesel products are perfectly labelled and alarmed according to company guidelines. Loss analysis and necessary action plan following inventory results.
Shop maintenance and organisation: Responsible for keeping the store clean and organised at all times. Proactive and collaborative in contributing ideas to maximise store results. Perform operational functions as directed by the store management team.
If you:
Have a minimum of 2-3 years' experience in sales and stock control in a fashion environment.
Are a good team player and have the ability to work alone with high levels of motivation.
Have a passion for stock management.
Have a strong attitude and specific knowledge in managing the warehouse and proven experience in omnichannel sales and processes.
Are very focused on results and able to work in a fast and dynamic environment.
Have a working knowledge of stock control, inventory management practices and procedures.
Have a good level of written and spoken English.
