The Role
We are looking for a seasoned Senior Accountant to join Immfly on the Finance team.
You will play a crucial role in being the right hand of the VP of Finance by ensuring the accuracy of our financial reporting and our compliance and providing support for strategic business decision-making.
What your day-to-day looks like Design and improve our existing accounting and financial processes and tools.Manage our financial records and lead the bookkeeping in different group entities, including preparing both standalone and consolidated financial statements.Preparation of annual reports under Spanish GAAP and IFRS.Manage and improve our Internal and External Financial Reporting.Be responsible for the accounting of inventory management and other relevant areas such as Capex, ensuring effective implementation of transfer price policies, and demonstrating a hands-on approach to problem-solving.Optimize the group's tax processes, including compliance with local and international tax regulations, while collaborating with external tax advisors and authorities to address tax-related matters.Continuously improve and drive system automation and procedures within the accounting and finance area to enhance efficiency and accuracy.Lead complex accounting matters with an impact on our financial performance.Establish and maintain tax files and records to document transactions.Requirements Technically
At least 5 years of experience in the Accounting field in a multinational environment. Preferred tech and start-up/scale-up experience. It will be greatly considered: a minimum of 2 years of audit experience. Bachelor's Degree in Economic and Business Administration, Accounting or Finance. Experience with Financial Close and exposure to Auditors. Experience with tax, especially accounting and financial reporting implications. Experience with bank accounting, reconciliations, and general bookkeeping tasks including suppliers, payroll, journal entries, and accruals. Advanced proficiency in MS Office, accounting software, SAP, databases, ERP.
Good knowledge of Spanish GAAP and IFRS. Excellent communication skills, fluent in English and Spanish (oral/written). Catalan is a plus.
