Could you be the full-time CBTC System Architect in Madrid we're looking for?
Your future role Take on a new challenge and apply your system engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside young and proactive teammates.
You'll analyse the input needs (external or internal) and requirements, and design the solution by re-using existing solutions (contracts context). Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (project engineering managers, etc) and much more.
You'll specifically take care of formalizing and maintaining the system specifications (operational, functional, and constructional), application rules, and supporting processes descriptions and their associated verification, validation and assessments. We'll look to you for:
Contribute to the system/product design (including refinement of HW and SW components identified in the system architecture) and specification according to the development strategy established in the System Engineering Management Plan.For the system design (s)he:Perform conceptual design by preparing system models, design studies, design rationales, design principles, real-time analysis, modelling & mock-ups, etc. for technical de-risking and optimization.Call, conduct and participate in technical reviews (design reviews, document reviews) to analyze technical issues, including consultation with end-users, experts and core competency networks according to specific needs and domain competencies relevance.Elaborate formal modelling and requirements writing according to design standards and guidelines.Coordinate with project/program team members to implement design and work through design revisions.Ensure traceability throughout the formal documentation, up to the input needs (input specifications, CR) and ensure verifications (document reviews, peer reviews) of system specifications.Puts work products under configuration management. BA/MA in Computers Engineering, Communications Engineering or Engineering studies in other technical areas.Knowledge of signalling projects would be an asset.Experience as a System Architect.Experienced in multi-site projects.Fluent in Spanish and English.Ability to work in a cooperative team environment.
