We are seeking an overall responsible and accountable Chapter Lead for Data Analytics Solution Architects to work on our digital products.
To realize our digital transformation, we need to design and implement effective Digital Products.Tasks and ResponsibilitiesLead a team of 10-12 Data Solution Architects responsible for design and support of Boehringer Ingelheim's Digital Products.End to end accountable and responsible for global management of all resources (employees, contractors, and service providers) related to Data Solution Architecture within IT.This includes responsibilities for people management, people development, setting and ensuring standards, guidance, and quality assurance within the chapter.Accountable for defining and maintaining the chapter dependent tool stack, technologies, and methods, as well as scouts for innovation in the field of responsibility.Acts as the single point of contact for consultancy and first level of escalation for the designated area.Responsible for participating in business development activities, such as identifying opportunities and solutions to improve Platform offering and Digital Products, ensuring they are scalable, maintainable, and meeting Boehringer Ingelheim's quality standards.Ensures the quality of their chapter's deliverables.RequirementsAt least 5 years of working with IT solutions with a wide range of in-depth technical understanding in the areas of data architecture, solution architecture, Data Analytics and Cloud.Proven experience to lead, motivate, and develop staff.Proven knowledge and experience as Data/Solution Architect.At least 3 years of experience with cloud solutions.
Solution Architect for at least one large scale modernization / transition project to Cloud (e.g.
AWS, Azure).Knowledge of AWS components, Apache Parquet, S3, AWS Glue is a plus.Good English skills, both written and spoken.Proven experience in managing third party IT vendors (e.g.
