Category Manager

Adecco Selección is currently recruiting a hardworking and ambitious Category Manager for an exciting opportunity to join a commercial team in Italy (Remote Position). This role will include frequent travel within Italy & Europe, candidates must be willing to travel extensively.



Our client is one of the largest pet food manufacturers in Europe, offering specially-formulated cat and dog food for the private label market. Founded in 1969 has grown to become one of the industrys leading pet food producers with eight manufacturing sites across Europe supplying quality products to customers around the world.



Purpose:

-To support the Head of Category Development to drive a better understanding of Market dynamics

-Run Kantar, Nielsen, IRI and Euromonitor reports to review performance of all aspects of Pet food in Southern Europe and understand the main trends

-Support the Head of Category & Brand Development with On-tapinformation such as Range analysis & reviews, Pricing/Promotional Analysis, Product Libraries, 3 years development plans, Competition & products analysis

-Meet and present to retail partners on market dymamics and performance within Pet Food

-Use all the available tools to determine the most optimized assortment to each customer in line with company's strategy

-Lead the reporting & analysis of the European Pet Food Category, identifying insight that will drive business and customer performance

-Support in the development and delivery of all category led customer meetings

-Upskill the European Commercial Team on Category Insights & Competitive Knowledge

Requisitos
Fluent Italian & English mandatory, Spanish or French as third language will be an advantage
2+ years experience in a multinacional Company or Retail environment within sales or marketing or similar role
Able to demonstrate analytical skills
Results focused, Strategic thinker, Strong story telling skills, Structured and Disciplined
Strong communication skills
