Category Management TRAINEE – Offer Department As a Category Management Intern, you will play a key role in supporting the category management team in planning, analyzing, and executing strategies to optimize the performance of assigned categories.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop analytical, strategic, and communication skills in a dynamic and results-driven environment.
# Main Responsibilities: Analysis and Reporting: Conduct market, competition, and trend analyses to identify growth opportunities.
Generate periodic reports on category performance (sales, margin, turnover, etc.).
Support in Category Strategies: Assist in the development and execution of commercial strategies, including assortment, pricing, promotions, and distribution.
Propose data-driven improvements to enhance profitability and customer satisfaction.
Product Information Management: Ensure the accurate updating and management of product information in internal systems (product descriptions, prices, etc.).
Collaborate in the creation of promotional materials or category-specific campaigns.
Coordination with Suppliers and Internal Teams: Support communication with suppliers to coordinate commercial agreements.
Work closely with marketing, sales, and logistics teams to ensure effective execution of strategies.
Special Projects: Participate in specific projects assigned by the Category Management team.
# Requirements: Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field (final semesters preferred).
Intermediate to advanced proficiency in analytical tools such as Excel (pivot tables, formulas); knowledge of Power BI or similar tools is a plus.
