Company Overview Role Overview: Working as a key member of the purchasing department, as a Buyer, you will be responsible for supporting the administration and negotiation of orders and contracts, ensuring cost-effective procurement as well as supporting the production plants and customer requirements.
This position will be based in Valls, Tarragona.
Main Responsibilities:
Purchase of materials, equipment, and supplies from vendorsSolicitation of quotationsEvaluation of vendor quotes and services to determine most desirable suppliersNegotiate component prices and termsNegotiate optimal logistics parametersInternal and external stakeholder relationship managementSupervising of purchase ordersResponsible for cost and lead time estimations in early project phaseKey Skills and Qualifications:
Fluent English Skills - every second language will be a plusGood communication skills in cross-functional teamsAnalytical SkillsBachelor's degree - Business or Engineering DegreePrevious experience in production environments purchasing may be a plusComputer literacy - in particular with MS Office - Excel
