At Siemens Gamesa, we are constantly seeking talented individuals to join our team and support our focus on energy transformation.Find out how you can make a difference at Siemens Gamesa:How To Contribute To Our VisionImplement regional or global commodity strategies into local systems.ECN / Project implementation: Managing the full sourcing process (RFQs, Negotiations and Supplier Awarding) under the framework of the global / regional strategy of the commodity.Short-term volume forecasting / planning alignment: Continuous dialogue and interaction with local plants and project planning following the goal to mitigate any shortage for production facilities.Guarantee the right sequence of invoices' approval and support the plants and Finance for on-time payments to the suppliers.First support level in Procurement to SCL Expediting team in the shortages' management process.Support to GCM & Lead Buyers in the supplier management: Identification of potential suppliers, supplier evaluation, etc.Support to GCM & Lead Buyers in the commodity management: Generation of cost-out ideas, gathering of regional commodity KPIs, etc.Manage the main IT software like SAP, ARIBA and product costs managementYou will ensure usage of globally defined methods, processes, and systems in order to ensure the efficiency and compliance of our processes.You will create and maintain strong relationships with our internal customers and external suppliers, also ensuring that the right stakeholders are involved from the start of the various sourcing projects you are managing.What You Need To Make a DifferenceWe are looking for someone who has technical experience and has a business education at minimum bachelor level in Engineering, Business Administration or Economics.Candidates should preferably have 5+ years of experience in engineering, procurement and/or operations functions, ideally in a global organization.Being familiar with common IT tools like the Office package and SAP is necessary. It is also preferably to have knowledge of S2C-/ P2P-processes and to be familiar with the design documentation lifecycle.We will value someone with great negotiation and communication skills, as well as strong people abilities
